Truncate on The DJ Sessions presents the "Virtual Sessions" 12/02/20
About Truncate -
After being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouse, backyard, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the monikers David F & Audio Injection, which landed him on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 as resident at the now defunct yet infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz. He currently runs a new event series together with Drumcell and Oktaform named “Observe”.
In early 2011, he started the project Truncate to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases early on gained critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Eats Everything, Joris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink, Slam, Loco Dice, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Ellen Alien, Miss Kittin, Carl Cox & Nicole Moudaber. He has also released original works on 50 Weapons, Ultramajic, Blueprint, Ei8ht, Figure and of course his own imprint Truncate. He has also collaborated with Jimmy Edgar, Chambray and most recently started a new project with Ben Sims as ‘Assailants’ which they’ve released on their own imprint ‘Obscurity Is Infinite’.
A rigorous international tour schedule has since followed, including stops and regular appearances at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam, Output in New York, and many more.
With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.

About LUZI TUDOR -
LUZI TUDOR is a Romanian Melodic House and Techno DJ and Producer living in LA. Her journey into music started at an early age where she found solace in the night life and rave scene as a refugee from a torn country that encouraged a wildly creative imagination, resilience and hard work ethic.
Growing up in Germany and Portugal after the fall of the regime in Romania, she settled in the U.S. she started her "after work" career at the age of 22 as a promoter and talent booker for some of Seattle's major dance clubs. Here she became close friends with many of today's Dance music’s movers and shakers that would ignite and encourage her love for music.
Working nights in the music scene didn’t take away her smarts or ambition where she spent her days building engineering teams for large enterprise companies such as Microsoft. Shortly after her success in the corporate world, she built her own successful and leading technology company in the behavioral health space.
Despite having an extremely successful career as a tech entrepreneur she decided after many years in the underground scene to embark on her love for DJing and producing. Honing in on her knack for technology has been an advantage at learning how to produce.
She brings a stealth and lightning speed intelligence for understanding the technical side of DJing and producing that undoubtedly complements her natural artistic talent and musical ear.

AI used to be just a man, but a very old one. As he grew older, vital functions began to fail: He lost the ability to hope and, with it, the ability to dream. His eyes began to fail, so all he could see was darkness and fear. His hearing faded to a point where every new song only sounded “not as good as music used to be.”
All of this took a toll on his heart, until eventually that too threatened to break.
One day, when it seemed he would finally just wither and turn to dust, he was given a great gift. He was rebuilt, piece by piece… the broken parts replaced, the damaged parts repaired. Now he isn’t entirely a man, but not entirely a machine either.
He is simply Avian Invasion, and all he can see now is hope.
The Bird’s melody-driven, dynamic performances have been showcased at venues like The Underground and Rendezvous in Seattle. Avian Invasion’s debut album launched in 2018 and is available at avianinvasion.com/cots

Karmy on The DJ Sessions presents the Silent Concert Sundays 11/22/20
About Karmy -
Karmy starts off his project back in 2011, after studying in the prestigious Point Blank Music School. In 2012, his first single Emotions is released under the Future Sounding Records imprint, reaching international artists such as Ala & Fila y Ruben de Ronde. In 2013, Emotions was included in the annual Addiktion Recordings mix compilation.
Being a versatile producer, Karmy releases a new single in 2016, Keep It Cool, under FSR reaching renown artists such as Rodg, Solarstone and Ruben de Ronde.
2017 marks an important year for the artist, being featured on Point Blank Music School of London’s own magazine. The same year, Karmy shared the stage with Paul van Dyk, as one of the artist on the lineup for the Vonyc Sessions Tour.
Karmy continues his journey, and in 2018 he debuted his first shows in the United States at The Underground and Ora Club, Seattle, sharing the stage with various acts such as JES, Sean Tyas, Greg Downey, Dennis Sheperd, Sunny Lax, Mark Sixma, KhoMha, among others.
There’s a long way ahead and yet a lot to see from Karmy.

About D Miner -
For over 2 decades DJ D MINER has been mixing Underground House music in Seattle. Some of his major musical influences that have helped him shape and develop his own unique style and sound over the years include some of Seattle’s local legends such as Donald Glaude, Jerry Phoenix, and DJ Shon to name a few.
D Miner’s love and dedication to the NW house movement has earned him a spot amongst Seattle’s finest dj’s. He has mastered his skills over the years on the wheels of steel or the CDJ’s to any of today’s DJ controllers. D Miner has worked with some of the industries best, making him a true master of his craft.
