Who is Cozmic Cat?
Cozmic Cat is a Canadian House/electronic music DJ and Producer based in Toronto and known for dynamic, fun and high energy performances as well as unique and diverse artist partnerships. With a seasoned professional attitude and undeniable star quality, Cozmic Cat's sounds are rooted in electronica House fused with everything musical from funk club sounds to disco, latin, pop, soul and tech... all with an authentic world class vibe.
She has performed globally from Ibiza to South Africa, and her original music has appeared in Film, Apps, Podcasts and Ads, and is played and supported by DJs and radio show hosts worldwide. It's no surprise was one of ten finalists chosen worldwide by the Pete Tong Dj Academy Future Talent Awards.
Her winning video mix was judged by Dj royalty Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Nicole Moudaber and Sama D'abdulha and officially announced by Pete Tong at the 2023 IMS (Ibiza Music Summit) at the Dalt Vila. As a Future Talent winner, she was given the opportunity to play at Destino Pacha in Ibiza (July 2023) and was featured in an article in Dj Mag (UK Edition July 2023).
Coz returned to Ibiza in October 2023 and played at Paradiso Art Hotel as part of the Orbit Dj Retreat, where she had the opportunity to learn from industry experts , as well as a special pop up B2B session with Sam Divine, Doorly and fellow Orbit Dj Acid Harry. Her most recent adventure was a Headliner Mix on BBC Radio 1 Dance courtesy of Iconic label, event promoters and lifestyle brand HESHETHEY .

Cozmic is most passionate about collaborating with artists from different styles, genres and cultures. Seeking out these connections has led to producing, composing and releasing multiple albums, singles, an Indie Film Score, and many remixes for herself and other artists. Cozmic connects with a variety of House music styles in her production while still maintaining her signature layered sound.
With 2 successful E.P releases on iconic UK label He.She.They. (“Make Love" 2021 and "Choices 2023”), Coz's music production has generated a buzz and support overseas from the likes of Jamie Jones, Severino (Horse Meat Disco), Syreeta, Roger Sanchez, Dam Swindle, Hiroko Yamamura, Carlo Lio ,Gina Breeze and many more. 'That Life" from the “Choices” E.P was rinsed on Sara Story's iconic Future Dance Radio Show on BBC Radio 1, and appeared on the much respected PACHA Ibiza Official Spotify Playlist .
Radio support for both E.Ps spanned across Canada to Belgium, UK, Germany, France and Spain. In the streaming world, "Make Love" landed at #13 on Amazon Music's global Top 100 Deep House Now Playlist, and "The Fixer" has achieved over half a Million Streams across platforms, plus a spot on Spotify Editorial “Groove Theory” , “Techno State” and Ministry of Sound Playlists .
Always coming with new music, Cozmic Cat's latest release on Oli Hodges 13 Records enjoyed global success in playlists and radio play, leading to another remix with them coming up March 28th.
Entering a remix contest from Soulclap records & Change The Beat she placed top 3 and enjoyed her first SoulClap Release (August 2024). Previous releases include “Take Me Higher” (Oct 2023) , a triumphant Classic Piano House track on Lady of the House (UK) to add to her previous "Black Gold" Single (March 2023).
Both singles received support from global DJs such as Jess Bays, Fedde LeGrande, Claptone, David Guetta (“Tasty!” ), Sam Divine, Chris Lake, Roger Sanchez, Aluna, Nic Faniculi among others, as well as global radio play and playlist action. "Black Gold" is an homage and celebration of Black artist's massive contributions to the House Music Genre.
Cozmic played the Lady Of The House Label Showcase at the massive ADE Conference in Amsterdam. Cozmic Cat's most recent adventure was a Headliner Guest set for HE.SHE.THEY label on BBC Radio 1 Dance, March 29th 2025.
Coz also dropped a deep disco remix to Irish Dance Music queen Louise Dacosta's track "All Night" (April 2023) and followed up on her performance in Derry Ireland in May 2022. “ All Night” ( Cozmic Cat Remix) was given support by several Irish Radio shows and DJs , and was played on BBC 1 for NYE 2025 . Her growing discography has been licensed in a documentary on Revry TV, a Mobile App, and a Ballentine Whiskey Ad Campaign.
HISTORY
Born in Canada, and growing up in such varied places as Tanzania (East Africa), Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, and Vanuatu (The South Pacific), Cozmic Cat aka Paula Burrows absorbed International rhythms from a traveling family and became obsessed with music at an early age.
She later moved to Philadelphia, USA and became immersed in the vibrant music scene there for over 9 years. Inspired by the artists and DJs she met in Philly and NYC, she began managing street teams and promoting for Sony Music, Giant Step Records, and many more, all the while throwing her own events with DJs, percussionists and live musicians.
Coz learned about House music, Jazz, Disco, Soul, Rare Groove, Acid Jazz, Boogie and Funk from some of Philly's deepest crate diggers and Record Stores. This knowledge, passion and skill led to several award wins from various Philadelphia Press for Best DJ, Best DJ (Mixer), and Best DJ (Audience Choice and Editors Choice).
Armed with a vintage Korg Triton Synth and a burning desire to release a track on vinyl, she connected with two local Philly producers Lorne Peart and Jon Gil to release a series of vinyl E.P's under the name From Philly With Love which earned them a spot on Urb Magazine's “Next 100”.
Her nightlife community involvement, production and event promotion efforts compounded and eventually led to a career in the music industry as a full time DJ, music producer, promoter and later, a record label boss.

Siryuz and Smoky on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 7/17/25
About Siryuz and Smoky -
Siryuz and Smoky have been in the music industry for over two decades. Smoky is originally from Atlanta (USA) and Siryuz from Bucharest (Romania). However, they are both based in Berlin (Germany).
Smoky is a solo rapper, but is also part of the legendary Berlin hip hop group "Die Atzen". Siryuz is a composer, producer, singer, rapper, songwriter and sound engineer and has been working in all genres for over 27 years.
The hip hop project of the two artists brings together German rap legends and current, young rappers and has already been very well received after two singles.
The first single "Das Ist Sick" with rap legend B-Tight (AGGRO BERLIN) and singer/rapper Bo Derah has been very well received by listeners. The Hyphy-style track was a premiere in Germany and immediately became a club burner.
The second single "Alles Auf Rot" is a personal and very honest number by Smoky alone, on which he talks about his struggles and experiences. He is accompanied on the track by his daughter TJ.
The project is still quite new, but a tour is already planned for 2026 as it has received so much positive feedback and support.

YORK on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 7/15/25
About YORK -
Torsten Stenzel is one of the most successful dance producers of the 90s and 2000s with projects like "Sakin & Friends" (European top positions with "Braveheart", "Nomansland" etc.), "Taucher", "Ayla" (in cooperation with "Tandu"), "Suspicious", "NUKE", "Diver & Ace", "Red Light District“ and many more.
At the end of the 90s the project "York" was born together with his brother Jörg Stenzel and immediately the first single "The Awakening" was a sensational success in all European countries (e.g. gold status in UK) and set a trademark with the typical "York" guitar.
With the second single "On The Beach" this success was extended even further and reached among others the Top 3 in the UK as well as chart positions all over Europe and the USA!
Chris Rea was so enthusiastic about Stenzel's cover version - which, by the way, sold more units than his 1986 original - and supported the promotion with, among other things, a joint appearance on the British "Top Of The Pops" show.
Numerous remixes (including Faithless) and collaborations with artists such as ATB ("Fields Of Gold") solidified the cult status of "York", which continues to this day.
In the last 5 years he had a lot to do with his singing daughter "Au/Ra" (UK hit "Panic Room", Jax Jones "Miss you"), whom he looked after as manager and producer. He has been living on the small Caribbean island of "Antigua" for the last 16 years, where he also works as a consul for the Foreign Office, among other things.

About bOydestiny -
Boydestiny was born in Hartford, Connecticut, as Michael Antonio Brocco to an Italian teenage mother, Maria Brocco and an African-American teenage father. The family, under financial pressure, could not keep Michael, and he was placed up for fostering.
A variety of foster families in the New Britain, Connecticut area helped to care for Michael in his very early youth including the Carter's and the Ward's. At age 10, Michael was placed in a loving home and raised by his adoptive Father, Robert Thornton, a single man residing in North Philadelphia. A young Michael, then took his current legal adopted name Michael Anthony Thornton. His first Philadelphia home was located at 2908 Diamond Street also known as the Henry O' Tanner home; as the famous African-American painter, known for the "Banjo Lesson" lived their back in the late 1800's as did the famous black lawyer Raymond Pace Alexander and his equally accomplished wife Sadie Tanner Mossell.
Michael still currently owns that famous National Historic property which his father gave him when he passed in 2018. Michael later moved from his O Tanner home and then resided in the West Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia on Carpenter Lane. Before this, as a foster child in Connecticut, Michael showed early musical promise, playing the String Bass at the age of six at the Smith School and performing in various school activities.
At age ten, he took up trumpet and played well enough to participate in a Philadelphia citywide youth orchestra. Then, by age eleven, Michael found his true instrumental calling....the piano. By age 12 Michael was performing on the piano in the Philadelphia school district 6 musical festival where he 1st met James K. Lloyd the now famous pianist of "Pieces of a Dream". Mike quickly learned both the piano and the organ and joined his first band at age thirteen, which was called "Unique" .This group performed throughout the Philadelphia area and was featured on numerous Television shows such as "AM Philadelphia", "Visions" and "City Lights."
By age seventeen, Michael had written over twenty original musical pieces, many of which had lyrics. Michael attended Central High School for Boys (class 240) and then LaSalle College where he earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology. By age 26 Michael had become a member of the smooth jazz group known as "Pieces of a Dream". He remained a member for ten years and traveled the world-over with them.
As a highly gifted pianist, Michael offered his keyboard playing services and in some cases vocal services to numerous famous and not-so-famous groups, in which he was able to perform with and/or share the stage with several artists and bands, including Kimberly Covington, Vincent Knight, Leon Evans, Eddie Baccus jr. Barbara Walker, Carla Benson, Lynn Randall, Stacy Mitchhart, Eddie Holman Sr., Pieces of A Dream, Marion Meadows, Alex Bugnon, Gladys Knight, George Benson, Jeff Lorber, Grover Washington jr., Cherelle, Alexander O Neal, Melisa Morgan, Queen Latifah, Phylis Hyman, Big Daddy Kane, Patti LaBelle, Freddie Jackson, Regina Belle, Bill Whithers and more.
By age 36, Michael had returned to University and obtained his PhD in Cell and Molecular Genetics from the University of Pennsylvania; graduating with a 3.99 GPA. Less than 2% of the world's population has a doctorate. According to the US Census Bureau, only 1.2% of the US population have a PhD. This makes having a PhD very rare. This places bOydestiNy in a very special and unique club especially amongst those rare PhD holders that are also singers and musicians.
Some years after obtaining his doctorate; in January 2008, Michael returned to music and penned the tune entitled 'You Got Me Going,' also known as the "Emma Watson Song". This song featured Michael not only on Piano but singing and rapping. Then, in March and April 2008, he and his video production crew from FSU film school (Robert Sackman) and some Miami dancing talent (Jake Kodish, Larry Albright, Seth Gordon) began film production for the "Emma Watson Song" music video, ending on April 6. The final video product was released to worldwide acclaim on April 15, 2008 and went viral on the internet and also garnered some radio airplay. This represented the first public use of his performer pseudonym "bOydestiNy" and the first time the world had seen Michael as a multi-instrumentalist as well as a good singer and rapper.
After this initial public release of the Emma Watson Song, Michael, bOydestiNy, worked on completing his 1st album, 'Modern Times,' released in June 2008. That CD/album had a mixture of songs that genre-wise fall under the general umbrella of Pop and R&B, but they went far beyond this.
bOydestiNy's most recent album, "Love is Forever," was released on May 1, 2024 in the US. And is an amazing collection of songs all about the emotion of love. Currently on bOydestiNy's YouTube Channel the artist has managed to reach close to 2.3 Million Views (2,300,000) for his collection of original music -music videos presented there.
Some of the many influences on bOydestiNy's music have been Michael Jackson, T-Pain, and John Legend. Some other influences include people like Lenny Kravitz and modern groups like the Jonas Brothers. Also, OutKast released SpeakerBoxx, which expanded their 'rock' side. Michael also wanted to explore this side, leading to the song he composed called 'Girl with the Golden Eyes". That song also showed the instrumental virtuosity of bOydestiNy as he played all the instruments on the cut, including drums, keyboards, and electric and acoustic guitar.
Muse-wise of course Emma Watson was and remains an inspiration to his songwriting. bOydestiny is now working on additional music videos to support all his albums and is presently considering US and international touring options for the summer and/or Fall season.

About Joey Riot -
Joey has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the world of Harder Styles including… Da Tweekaz, Radical Redemption, Angerfist, Gammer, Frequencerz, Partyraiser, Warface, Tha Playah to name a few.
He has appeared on TV, DJing on hit show “The Apprentice” and also on Clubland TV. He has been a guest DJ and interviewee on BBC Radio 1 on three separate occasions with three different projects, a feat not matched by anyone. He has also been in many magazines including, DJ Mag, Mixmag, IDJ etc etc.
